On the morning of Monday 20 May 2024, NHS Ayrshire & Arran experienced disruption to its digital network, affecting the majority of our digital systems, including our digital telephone system. The disruption was caused by an electrical wiring fault, causing loss of power to the computer room at University Hospital Crosshouse. Resilience and business continuity arrangements were enacted, including the use of the analogue telephone system.
